About the role
DTU Electro is looking for a structured and proactive administrative coordinator to play a central role in supporting the institute’s administrative processes. The position offers a broad interface across the organisation and includes coordination, administration, and compliance tasks. As coordinator, you will help ensure smooth and well-functioning processes and create the best possible framework for both researchers and international guests.
The role provides good opportunities to develop your competences and gain insight into many different fields within a complex and dynamic organisation.
Responsibilities
As part of the administrative team, your primary tasks will include:
- Overall responsibility for guest administration and all related administrative processes
- Administration of risk assessments, including implementation of processes, coordination, and follow-up
- Coordination of cases with central functions such as HR and Legal, ensuring correct handling, progress, and compliance with procedures
- Support of administrative processes related to compliance and internal guidelines
- General administrative tasks, including coordination, document handling, and internal communication
- Contribution to the optimisation of workflows and to high-quality administrative task execution
Your profile
We expect that you:
- Work in a structured and detail-oriented manner with a strong sense of responsibility
- Have good coordination skills and enjoy collaborating across the organisation
- Are proactive and able to drive processes from implementation to follow-up
- Are service-minded and able to maintain an overview in complex workflows
- Communicate clearly in both Danish and English
Experience from a university or research environment is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Salary and terms of employment
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the collective agreement for academics employed by the state, or in accordance with the OAO-S joint collective agreement and the organisational agreement for clerical staff, laboratory technicians, and IT staff (HK/Stat).
The position is full-time (37 hours per week) and is expected to be filled from 1 October 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. The workplace is DTU Electro, DTU Lyngby Campus.
