On phd-scholarship.com we keep vacancy types separate on purpose:
- Open PhD Positions — doctoral roles with a project, supervisor, and usually a stipend or employment contract.
- Postdoctoral Fellowships — fixed-term research roles after the PhD, often with a host lab and fellowship funding.
- Jobs for Researchers — scientific staff, technicians, research engineers, and other institute roles that are not PhD studentships.
Institute scholarship programmes (browse under PhD Scholarships) describe ongoing doctoral training at a university or institute; they are not the same as a single open vacancy with a deadline.
