Select a project that matches your academic background and research aspirations. You may also contact the listed supervisor informally to discuss the project before applying.
- Prepare Your Application: Gather the required documents: a detailed CV, academic transcripts, and a cover letter outlining your interest in the project and relevant experience. You will also need to provide the contact details of two academic referees who can comment on your suitability. Ensure that your CV highlights any research experience, technical skills, and publications.
- Submit Your Application: Applications are submitted through the University of Cambridge's Applicant Portal if the project is affiliated with the University. For projects with other partner universities, follow the instructions on the project listing. Complete the online application form, upload your documents, and provide referee contact details. Submit your application before the specified deadline.
- Interview and Offer: If shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview. This is an opportunity for us to learn more about you and for you to ask questions. Following the interview, successful candidates will receive a formal offer, which will include details about funding, start date, and any conditions.
