Application Process for PhD Scholarships in Agriculture
The application process for the ISTA PhD program involves the following steps:
- Create an Account: Candidates must create an account on the ISTA PhD application portal to begin the application.
- Application Form: Complete a detailed online application form using a desktop browser (mobile browsers are not supported).
- Upload Documents: Upload required documents, including a CV, statement of purpose, university transcripts, and referee contact details.
- Referees: Applicants must list at least two referees who will provide letters of recommendation. Recommendations must be submitted by January 12, 2024 (23:59 CET).
- Rotation Year: During the first year, students engage in rotations through different research groups before selecting the group in which they will conduct their thesis work. This helps students make an informed decision regarding their research focus.
